To that end, I am modifying the code to support all of the known scanning satellites. I started the small project because MatLab/Octave code looked easy enough, and I wanted to know if ideal scanning altitudes existed higher than ISA MapSat functioned at, but below other scanner's maximums. I have recently updated and altered the code found in the famous ideal and non-ideal altitude thread.
